How we teach.
Every lesson is live. Every teacher is qualified. Every child is known. This is what an online school should look like.

Live lessons.
Real interaction.
Students log in to a live online classroom where they are welcomed by their teacher and classmates. Lessons are varied and engaging — interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, breakout rooms, live chat and immediate feedback.
Each lesson lasts forty-five minutes with a fifteen-minute screen break between periods. Teachers use voice, text and interactive presentations to keep every student involved. No passive watching — this is a classroom, not a broadcast.

Independent study day.
Every Friday is dedicated to independent work — deeper reading, extended assignments and one-to-one support with teachers.
Tasks are set through the student portal and take around forty-five minutes per subject. Teachers mark everything and provide detailed feedback on strengths and areas for development. For families in the Middle East, the independent study day falls on Sunday instead.
24/7 portal access.
Lesson recordings, homework, messages and learning materials — all accessible any time through the student portal. Miss a lesson? Simply re-watch.
Small classes, big impact.
A maximum of twenty students per class means genuine one-to-one interaction. Every question answered, every student known by name.
Engaging & interactive.
Quizzes, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, breakout rooms and presentations. Every lesson is designed to involve, not just inform.
Qualified teachers.
Every teacher holds a minimum of a subject degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. They support students every step of the way.
A fifteen-minute conversation could change your child's education.
Speak with our team. No pressure, no jargon, just honest answers about whether BOS is the right fit for your family.
