A traditional classroom isn't always the right fit. At BOS, we create an environment where every child can learn comfortably and confidently.
Some children and young people need additional help to learn and develop. This could range from more accessible resources to dedicated one-to-one support. There are many types of learning differences — dyslexia, autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and dyscalculia among them. A child may have one or a combination, mild or more significant.
The British Online School recognises that a traditional classroom can create barriers to learning for some young people. Our small class sizes of twenty allow more time for individualised teaching, and learning from the comfort of home lets children feel safe, focused and confident.
All our teachers are fully qualified and experienced in teaching children with special educational needs. Our Deputy Head and SENDCo works closely with students, parents and teachers to provide tailored support and regular feedback on progress.
